Our Story
From a Mother's Dream to a Nurturing School
In 2021, Wanda School began not as a traditional school, but as a simple dream, a mother's desire for a clean, safe, and homely environment where her child could be cared for while she worked. She imagined a place that felt less like a daycare and more like home, a place surrounded by trees, warmth, laughter, and genuine love. This led to the birth of KinderCare Daycare, a cozy and nurturing space where children were cared for like family.
At first, only one child joined in the first term. But the loving care, clean environment, homely setting, and strong sense of security quickly gained attention. By the second term, 19 more learners joined, proof that word of mouth and trust are powerful.
Parents loved it. They admired how the environment felt homely, safe, and peaceful, almost like leaving their children at a caring relative's home. But with growth came challenges. Some parents asked for longer hours and even weekend care, hoping the center could become a full-time haven for their children. While the demand showed trust, it also raised an important truth, children still needed the comfort, guidance, and warmth of their own homes after school. This became a defining moment in shaping the school's identity and purpose.
As children grew, parents saw potential, not just for care, but for learning, character-building, and early education. The demand shifted from daycare to proper schooling, and Wanda School was born.
To meet the growing needs, Wanda School expanded, added qualified teachers, built a larger playfield, introduced school transport, developed new learning programs, and began integrating technology to prepare learners for a dynamic future.
Wanda School is no longer just a place where children are cared for, it's now a nurturing space of academic excellence, Christian values, and holistic growth, where every child is known, loved, and equipped to thrive.
